Morning Call - January 30, 2018
Rain in northwest
Drizzle to southwest

Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 30th January 2018
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Drizzly southwest, rain in the north west, drier elsewhere

Good morning,

Some fog patches across the Midlands, Wales and southern England to start this morning, but these should be clearing away fairly smartish. Some rain affecting northwest Scotland, but otherwise it should be a dry start to the day for most with osme sunshine in the east and south too.

However, things cloud up over Wales and southern England this afternoon with bits and pieces of drizzle affecting southern Wales and southwest England. The rain continues in western Scotland, and although there could be a few spots of drizzle in northwest England, most places are going to be dry.

Patchy rain in the north and west this evening and for the first part of the night with more drizzle on southern coasts. This patchy rain then passes south as the night progresses and it turns breezier for most too.
