Friday
Morning rain quickly clears SE England and then all areas return to colder, showery weather, especially in the north and west with some snow accumulations across Scotland, N Ireland and, to a lesser extent, across N England. Frost and ice possible. Highs 2C to 6C.

 
 
 


Friday Night
A cold night on Friday night, especially across England and Wales with a widespread frost developing, along with icy patches. Later in the night, across parts of Scotland and Ireland it will turn wetter and windier with rain, sleet and hill snow developing. Lows -2C to 2C.
 


Saturday
Wet and windy weather spreads eastwards through Saturday with all areas seeing a spell of moderate or heavy rain and strong winds too. Following from thw west, later in the day will be colder conditions once again with showers and these turning wintry on higher ground in the north and west by the end of the day. Highs 3C to 8C.
 


Sunday
A cold and showery day is expected across many areas of the UK into Sunday with the showers most frequent across Scotland, Ireland, N England and Wales where they will be wintry on high ground along with some snow accumulations in places too. Showers fewer further south and east and here there will be some drier and brighter intervals. Cold-feeling day for all given a fresh or strong W or NW'ly wind.
