Heavy rain in eastern Spain and southern France, fair for rest of central Europe


Wednesday
Heavy rain continues for Spain on Wednesday, becoming drier and bright to the northeast later. Dry and bright too for Portugal. Heavy showers for the Balearic Islands which spread east to Corsica and Sardinia later. A dry, fine day for Italy though cloud builds to the northwest later. Dry and fine too for Greece with plenty of sunshine. Isolated showers affect southern and eastern parts of Turkey.
An overcast day for France with heavy bursts of rain affecting the southern half of the country. Mostly cloudy but dry for the Low Countries and Switzerland. Increasingly brighter further east over Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia.
Away from western Norway it's a mostly dry day across Scandinavia and the Baltic States with a mixture of broken cloud and sunny spells for Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.


Thursday
Low pressure brings heavy rain in Spain whilst Portugal should be dry with sunny spells. Heavy showers in the Balearics, a risk of thunderstorms. Hevay showers for Corsica and Sardinia but Italy should be dry with good spells of sunshine. Greece is going to be fine too with more sunshine here. Some showers in eastern Turkey but dry to the west.
Heavy, thundery rain in southern France. Showers in western France, but drier in the east. Fine for the Low Countries, good spells of sunshine here. More sunshine to come through Germany and Poland as well as staying dry here. More sunshine in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
Fine for Denmark with more sunshine. Staying fair in the Baltic States. Finland will be bright and dry with sunny spells. Fair in southern parts of Sweden. Rain in western Norway, some of this heavy.
