Morning Call - May 23, 2018
Fine and Settled
Warm or Very Warm

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 23rd May 2018
Duty forecaster: Matthew Hugo

Dry weather will continue across many areas with prolonged spells of sunshine as high pressure persists.

Good morning,

Through the rest of Wednesday morning and misty and murky conditions across E Scotland and E England will burn back to coastal areas, but with the remainder of the British Isles experiencing further dry weather with plenty of sunshine, especially in the south and west.

Through the afternoon and no significant changes are forecast many areas dry with bright or sunny spells and these prolonged at times too, especially across more central and western areas. A few isolated light showers may develop across S England, but this will be the exception to what is forecast to be a dry afternoon nationwide and all areas warm.

Many areas dry into the evening with evening sunshine giving way to clear spells and variable cloud overnight. Mist and murky conditions may return back into E England and E Scotland overnight, but most areas dry. Cool in the countryside, otherwise a relatively mild night.
