Mainly dry for most after a chilly start

Good morning,

It's a chilly start to Friday with some frost in places and a few showers across northern and eastern areas. Much of Friday is, however, set to be dry for many areas with some bright or sunny spells.

 
 
 

Little change through the afternoon with many areas dry with some bright or sunny spells, despite still a risk of some showers in the north and east.

Turning chilly into Friday evening and overnight, especially in the east with possible frost developing. Cloudier, damp and milder conditions will, however, spread into more western areas of the British Isles into the overnight period.
