Morning Call - May 26, 2018
Fine For Most
Warm or Very Warm

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 26th May 2018
Duty forecaster: Matthew Hugo

Fine and settled conditions continue for most and very warm too, but with a risk of a few heavy showers in the south and south-west.

Good morning,

Through the course of Saturday morning and some residual overnight rain or showers across N England will soon clear and then many areas will be mainly dry with some bright or sunny spells, especially across Scotland. Through the rest of the morning and some showers may develop across far southern counties of England, but otherwise many areas will be dry with sunny spells. Breeze.

Through the afternoon and a lot of fine and dry weather will be maintained, especially across N England, Scotland and N Ireland where more prolonged spells of sunshine is possible. More central and especially southern and south-western areas of England and perhaps S Wales too, may well see an on-going risk of some scattered heavy showers or an isolated thunderstorms spreading northwards.

Little change during Saturday evening and overnight with further showers or isolated storms possible in the far south and south-west, otherwise many areas having a dry night with clear spells and variable cloud. A mild or rather warm night, especially in towns and cities.

Matthew
